Biography

Dr. Jennifer Hilton started the subspecialty residency training (fellowship) program in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UBC in July 2015. Her interest in reproductive medicine started prior to medical school when she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Master of Science in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences both at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Hilton completed her undergraduate medical training in 2003, also at the University of Saskatchewan. She then moved to Calgary to complete residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Following residency training she joined two medical school colleagues to open Queen City Obstetrics and Gynecology in Regina, Saskatchewan. She practiced general obstetrics and gynecology with a special interest in infertility for 7 years. During that time she offered fertility treatments and monitoring for IVF cycles in collaboration with many Fertility Clinics across Canada and the US. This experience led her to pursue fellowship training in REI. While training in Vancouver, Dr. Hilton continues to work with a provincial committee on a pathway for fertility care in Saskatchewan (http://www.sasksurgery.ca/patient/fertilitycare.html).
