This year’s SOGC is being hosted in Vancouver, June 14 to 17, 2016, at The Westin Bayshore and UBC OBGYN will have a strong presence there.

The Department of OBGYN is proud to report that this year’s SOGC is co-chaired by Drs. Geoffrion and Kent, and that the SOGC is also hosting The 8th Annual Lectureship in Female Pelvic Medicine.
In addition to this, the following department members are either presenting or co presenting:
- Roxanna Geoffrion, will present a practical workshop on anal sphincter repair. Among those assisting Dr. Geoffrion will be current Fellowship student, Dr. Maryse Larouche, and former Fellowship student, Dr. Momoe Hyakutake.
- Neeraj Mehra will be co-presenting a didactic course on complex laparoscopy, focusing on advanced techniques for the gynaecologic surgeon.
- Catherine Allaire, will be presenting an abstract on Pelvic pain symptoms, psychological comorbidities, and function/quality-of-life in women with or without endometriosis
- Jason Burrows will be presenting an abstract on Hospital Versus Home Care for Pregnant Women with Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes: A Retrospective Cohort Study
