Department researchers receive the 2017 Harold A. Kaminetzky Prize Paper Award

Researchers from the Department received the 2017 Harold A. Kaminetzky Prize Paper Award for their recent publication which explained the rise in maternal mortality in the United States. The work was carried out in collaboration with a colleague, Dr. Enrique Schisterman, from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.

The award, which carries a $2000 prize, was established in 2008 to recognize the best paper published in the Green Journal by non-US based researchers. In the photo from left to right are Drs. K.S.
