We asked Janice ‘What does becoming a Professor mean to you?
It is truly an honour to be promoted, and to join the company of such highly respected colleagues in my Department. This could not have been possible without the support of my Department, academic environment and collaborators, and I feel very fortunate to be here. I look forward to contributing to the academic mandate of this Department, by guiding the career path of the next generation of trainees, and developing research collaborations with partners throughout UBC and worldwide.
