Dr. Hitkari is Co-founder and Co-director of Olive Fertility Centre in Vancouver, BC. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the University Of British Columbia (UBC). He completed his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the UBC and went on to do a formal fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at The University of Toronto (Mt.Sinai).
Dr Hitkari is a dedicated and award-winning educator. He is coordinates the UBC Medical School undergraduate teaching in the areas of reproduction and infertility. He is a past examiner in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. As a dedicated patient advocate, Dr. Hitkari has served as a board member for the Infertility Awareness Association of Canada and is proud of being the recipient of the H. Hill Humanitarian award for exceptional patient care.
Dr.Hitkari has been on the Board of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) for four years and is currently serving as Vice President. He has now been elected President of the CFAS for 2020/2021. As President, among other duties, he is responsible for organizing and hosting the CFAS Annual Meeting which will take place in Vancouver in September, 2021.
