Biography

Dr. Leslie Sadownik is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and an Associate Member of the Department of Dermatology and Skin Sciences at the University of British Columbia. She is a gynaecologist with a clinical practice exclusively in lower genital tract disease. She is the Director of the Centre for Vulvar Health located at Vancouver Coast Health – a new multidisciplinary health care centre for women with chronic benign and pre-malignant vulvar diseases. She has a Masters in Adult Education and is an Educational Consultant for the Provincial Colposcopy Program. She had various Medical Education roles (Director, Postgraduate Liaison, Project Leader) within the Faculty Development Office (Faculty of Medicine) from 1997-2016.

Postgraduate Residents in formal and clinical settings.

Research Interests/Skills

Her current research interests focus on the impact of chronic vulvar diseases, and their treatment, on the quality of life of the affected woman.
