Dr. Brotto is an academic psychologist funded by the CIHR, Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research, Canadian Pain Society, National Vulvodynia Association, and other foundations. She is frequently sought after for media coverage of sexual health related topics and is actively involved in knowledge dissemination.
