Sheona Mitchell-Foster received one of the inaugural BC Support Unit Northern Centre Developing Northern Research Collaborations Awards

“Access to Care for Women with Complex Pregnancies in Northern BC: Patient Partner Capacity Building” was one of five projects awarded the inaugural BC SUPPORT Unit Northern Centre Developing Northern Research Collaborations Awards. Sheona Mitchell-Foster, along with, Health Systems Partner, Vanessa Salmons, and Patient/Community Partner, Trina Fyfe will work together to build capacity on patient-centred research in pregnancy care.

The $10,000 in project funding is intended to provide the opportunity for researchers, health care providers, decision makers and patient partners to develop collaborations for person, family and community centred research.
