The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Subspecialty Residency Program welcomes Ghadeer Alkusayer

Dr. Ghadeer Majed Alkusayer completed medical school at the University of Sharjah, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates then moved to BC to complete a research fellowship with the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and a Masters degree in Reproductive Sciences (M. Sc) with the University of British Columbia. She was appointed as a faculty member at the College of Medicine at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She was granted a full scholarship for both the Masters degree and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology for which she moved to the prairies and completed it at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. She resumed her duties as a faculty member at the college of Medicine in PNU and was granted a full scholarship to move back west to BC to join the Maternal-Fetal Medicine team.
