Biography
Dr. Geoff Cundiff is a professor within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of British Columbia. He teaches Women’s Health Research in the Women+ and Children’s Health Research Graduate Program and is a dedicated surgical educator for postgraduate learners and practicing physicians. He is a research scientist at the Women’s Health Research Institute and Centre for Advancing Health, with research focused on pelvic floor disorders, digital therapeutics, surgical education, preventing obstetrical trauma, and patient reported outcomes. His contributions of 6 books, and more than 200 peer reviewed publications have over 15,000 citations. He has led multiple multi-centered randomized trials and now pursues translational research after cofounding Amara Therapeutics to develop digital treatments for pelvic floor disorders.
