Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist
Dr. Niamh Tallon is a reproductive endocrinologist and fertility specialist based in British Columbia, Canada. She serves as the Medical Director of OFC Victoria and Co-Director of Olive Fertility Centre, Vancouver. Additionally, she is the Fellowship Program Director for Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (GREI) at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and a Clinical Professor at UBC’s Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Tallon earned her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, followed by advanced training in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive endocrinology in Canada. Her clinical and research interests focus on reproductive failure, from implantation issues to early miscarriage, with a commitment to evidence-based practices and protocol innovation.
An educator and advocate, Dr. Tallon has received numerous accolades, including recognition for clinical studies and has contributed to the development of Canadian guidelines on thyroid testing for fertility and on fertility preservation. She has also served as an advisor to the Ministry of Health, advancing IVF funding in British Columbia.
In addition to her publication record, Dr. Tallon is a sought-after speaker, regularly presenting on topics such as infertility, thyroid health, and advancements in reproductive technology. Her expertise has been featured in major media outlets, including CBC and CTV, and she actively mentors the next generation of fertility specialists.
