Biography
Dr. Ubhi completed his medical training at the University of Saskatchewan in 1994 and Residency training at UBC in 1999. He has a keen interest in Medical Education and completed the APGO Academic Scholars and Leaders Program. He was the past Residency Program Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UBC from 2013 to 2020. He is the current Associate Head of Education in the Department of OBGYN at UBC. In addition he has multiple PGME roles including the lead for Resident Affairs at UBC and is on the PGME review committee. He is involved in accreditation reviews at the Royal College. He is the current chair of the Royal College Examination in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Canada. His clinical practice is in New Westminster at the Royal Columbian Hospital where he is the Department Head at RCH.

His areas of interest include curriculum development, resident evaluation and accreditation standards.
