Dr Elisabeth McClymont has joined the Department as an Assistant Professor in the UBC Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Pediatrics.
Dr McClymont completed her PhD in Reproductive and Developmental Science at UBC, followed by Postdoctoral Fellowships in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Pediatrics at Université de Montréal and UBC. Additionally, she completed postdoctoral level work at the Danish Cancer Research Center, Denmark.
She has been the recipient of the Dr. Bernard Duval Award for Vaccination and the Young Investigator of the Year award from the Infectious Diseases Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology (IDSOG). She is currently a Board Member of the International Papillomavirus Society. Her research is focused on reducing the burden of viral diseases in women and their infants.
