Biography
Dr. Justin McGinnis completed medical school at the University of Alberta, residency in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of British Columbia, fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at McMaster University, and a Master of Science in Quality Improvement & Patient Safety at the University of Toronto. He serves as co-lead of the Endometrial Cancer Integrated Practice Unit at VCH, co-lead of the Quality Improvement Community of Practice for the Society of Gynecologic Oncology of Canada, and Chair of the GYN oncology fellowship Competency Committee at UBC.
Teaching
Dr. McGinnis places a strong focus on teaching academic and clinical trainees of all levels. He continues to supervise undergraduate and post-graduate trainees in quality improvement research methods and teaches minimally invasive surgical techniques to trainees in the VGH Simulation Centre.
