Our residents who are wrapping up their PGY1 year got to engage in a full day of learning at our annual Resident Research Orientation on June 6th, 2019.  Topics covered include resident research expectations, critical literature appraisal, library resources, study design, ethics approval process, privacy in the context of research, biostatistics & regression analysis, resources and support for data analysis & knowledge translation, tips & guidelines for publication, and more.  In the afternoon Drs. N. Todd, M. Carey, J. Liauw, and P. Yong provided an overview of the range of possible research projects and opportunities available in each Division.   Thank you to all the presenters, and special thanks to the organizers A. Fernandez, S. Lewis, Dr. J. Ubhi and Dr. G. Cundiff for putting together this stimulating session to help our residents get ready to embark on their research projects.
