The department was happy to host six Summer Student Research Program students from the Faculty of Medicine this summer:
Gabriel Chan worked with Dr. Ken Lim and Dr. Mohamed Elgendi on a project entitled: “A Pilot Study to Determine the Optimal Finger for Hypertension and Preeclampsia Assessment Using Pulse Oximeter Collection”.
Michelle Lisonek worked with Dr. Michael Anglesio on a project entitled: “KRAS G12 Mutation and Deep Dyspareunia in Endometriosis”
Kiran Mann worked with Dr. Roxana Geoffrion on a project entitled: “ PHISIQUE Study: Postpartum pelvic floor Health Index: Sexuality, Incontinence and Quality of life Evaluation after obstetric anal sphincter injury”
Renee Reimer worked with Dr. Chelsea Elwood on a project entitled: “Bacteremia in pregnant and postpartum women”
Sadaf Sediqi worked with Dr. Paul Yong on a project entitled: “Nerve Bundles and its Association with Endometriosis: Can a Binary Scoring system be useful for pathologists”
Ethan Zhang worked with Dr. Roxana Geoffrion on a project entitled: “ POUR – Post-operative Urinary Retention Study”
