Dr David Huntsman, Chew Wei Professor, was awarded the Inaugural Gerald Award for Translational (Cancer) Research and Pathology from Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Centre.
Dr Huntsman was selected for his contributions to gastric cancer an ovarian cancer care and research.
This award is in honour of the late William L. Gerald http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2607558/, surgical and molecular pathologist, cancer researcher, and Editorial Board member of The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics.
