Biography
Dr. Havelock is a Clinical Assistant Professor and a former Subspecialty Residency Program Director, Gynecological Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI) Residency Program, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Dr. Havelock is the Chair of the REI Special Interest Group at the Canadian Fertility Andrology Society.
Dr. Havelock graduated from the University of Manitoba with BSc and MD degrees. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta, and then a three-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. His focus is on in vitro fertilization (IVF) and tubal reconstructive surgery.
Teaching
Dr. Havelock facilitates lectures to medical students of the UBC MD Undergraduate Program and to residents of Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr. Havelock also teaches fellows training in the GREI fellowship program.
