Leadership Development Training Open to all Faculty
Our vision
The UBC Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology’s vision is to provide faculty with leadership training that addresses a variety of skills, from administrative to soft-skills training.
We are currently piloting a Leadership Training Program for new and future leaders within the department beginning on Thursday, September 6. The goal is to build on current skills that will prepare faculty members for present or future leadership roles. We welcome all faculty to join!
The current sessions explore topics such as motivational interviewing, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and the review of a number of administrative-based tasks, such as learning about fundraising, finance and how to navigate through academic medicine.
