Leadership Development Training Open to all Faculty
Our vision
The UBC Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology’s vision is to provide faculty with leadership training that addresses a variety of skills, from administrative to soft-skills training.
We are currently running the second cohort of our Leadership Training Program for new and future leaders within the department this Spring. The goal is to build on current skills that will prepare faculty members for present or future leadership roles. We welcome all faculty to join!
The program will explore topics such as conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, leadership assessments such as Strengths Finder 2.0, and the review of a number of administrative-based tasks, such as learning about fundraising and how to navigate through academic medicine. The Spring 2019 schedule will be coming soon!
