The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Subspecialty Residency Program welcomes Oisin Coll and Isabelle Hardy!

Dr. Oisin Coll (left) grew up in Ireland and Calgary. He graduated from University of Alberta school of medicine in 2005. He completed the UBC Obstetrics and Gynecology residence program in 2010. He has worked for 13 years as a generalist obstetrician/gynecologist with an interest in high-risk obstetrics, at Burnaby Hospital and Surrey Memorial Hospital, before enrolling in the UBC maternal fetal medicine program.

Dr. Isabelle Hardy (right) graduated from the Doctor of Medicine program at the University of Montreal in 2016. She completed postdoctoral training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Sherbrooke from 2016 to 2022. She obtained a master’s degree in Health Science Research (MSc) from the University of Sherbrooke in August 2022 and graduated from the Clinician Investigator Program in June 2023. She has a true passion for Maternal Fetal Medicine and hopes to become a Clinician Scientist with a focus on lifestyle interventions and maternal health. She started a PhD in Health Science Research at the University of Sherbrooke in 2022 and will complete this degree after her MFM fellowship. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, yoga, and cycling. She looks forward to the start of her fellowship and her new life in Vancouver with her husband Julien and their cat Cacouna.
