The Grand Rounds are available via Zoom or a hybrid of in person and Zoom. The sessions are also recorded for later viewing.
There are three distinct components available to you as part of Distributed Academic Rounds:
OBGYN Rounds Calendar – updated June 2025 –This new calendar only contains OBGYN rounds. You are able to search this by month in either a calendar or a list view. You can also filter this by site.
Zoom – join live Grand Rounds found in the OBGYN Rounds Calendar from any internet-enabled location using your laptop/desktop. Interact with the presenter and other participants via microphone, camera, and/or chat. Simply click on the link and follow the link to join a session remotely.
Med Video on Demand 
– view video recordings of current and past Grand Rounds sessions through the departmental website. Recorded sessions will usually be available within 24 hours. Recordings are password protected – for password reminder, contact jane.ewasiuk@vch.ca.

Rounds are classified as a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
In order to claim CME Credits you must complete the evaluation form directly after the session.
