The MIS (BCWH) Clinical Fellowship consists of:
- 2-3 days per week in the operating room performing advanced minimally invasive surgeries
- 1-2 days per week clinic time spent with members of the clinic team (6 gynaecologists, physiotherapist, psychologist, dedicated clinic nurses)
- Opportunity to spend time with allied physicians, namely gastroenterologists, urologist and in-hospital complex pain team.
- Opportunity to spend time with the Vulvar Pain Assessment Clinic at VGH.
- Protected time of one day per week for research and teaching.
- Involved in teaching residents, both in the operating room and dedicated teaching time (delivery of curriculum and laparoscopic box training)
- Complete an original research project in the field of minimally invasive surgery, endometriosis, pelvic pain, or surgical education
