Goals and Objectives

To develop expertise in the diagnostic evaluation and conservative treatments for urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, voiding dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, rectal prolapse, fecal incontinence, defecatory dysfunction, pelvic pain and gynaecologic fistulae.
To develop expertise in the surgical management of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fecal incontinence and gynaecologic fistulae. Minimally invasive including vaginal surgical techniques will be emphasized.
To assist with training of undergraduate learners through didactic presentations, bedside clinical teaching, surgical instruction and oral examinations.
To develop independent research projects from protocol design and acquisition of competitive grants to oral and written dissemination of findings.
